Barbara Ann "Barbie" Sapp, 77, Climax, passed away February 13, 2023, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Born September 27, 1945, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Henry D., Sr. and Erma (Stiffey) Garland.  Also preceded in death by husband Bernard Marvin Sapp, Sr., Grandson Michael Palmer; daughter-in-law Amy Sapp; brothers Henry D. and Robert John Garland

Survived by daughter Lisa Palmer and husband Martin Ulishney; son Bernard M. Sapp, Jr.; grandchildren Vicki Haase, Allen Palmer & wife Nichell; Katie, Brooke and Stacey Sapp; great-grandchildren Oreatta, Justin, Alexandria, Ashwin, Shoneal, Everest, Micaiah and one on the way; and sister Sandy Deyarmin & husband John.

She enjoyed doing cross word puzzles, going out to eat and watching her favorite shows on T.V., especially old westerns.  Se will be remembered for wearing a hard hat outside when the acorns would be falling and referring to her daughter as "The Drill Sergeant".  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends received 2-6 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where a time of sharing will be held at 6 pm Sunday.
