Barbara Ewt

Barbara S. Ewt, 72, New Florence, went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026, at Independence Health Latrobe Hospital. Born August 10, 1953, in Plum Boro the daughter of the late Regis & Margaret (Minto) Seibel. Also preceded in death by son-in-law Keith Boring. 

Survived by loving husband George Ewt, New Florence. Daughters Danielle McEwen and Vanessa Ewt; stepchildren Melissa Boring, Jeffery Ewt and wife Rhonda, Timothy Ewt and wife Cindy. "Favorite" son-in-law Joshua Bernard. Sister Linda Peters and husband Robert, nieces Jenny Peters, Amy Avergas, and Melissa Withrow, along with several grandchildren and great-granddaughters. 

Barb was an avid reader and enjoyed going on hikes and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her "adopted" grandkids Emerson and Ella Rankin and her many girlfriends along with her New Jersey family.

At Barb's request there will be no public visitations or service. If you would like to honor Barb's memory the family is requesting memorial donations, be made to Laurel Valley Senior Center, PO Box 336, New Florence, PA 15944, an organization that meant a lot to her.
