Anita L. Wertheimer

Anita Louise (Shiley) Wertheimer, 72, Johnstown, PA passed away on June 24, 2026.

 Anita was born June 20, 1954, in Johnstown, PA. She was the daughter of late Margaret and Clifford Shiley. She was raised in Armagh and graduated from United High School, the class of 1972.

 She is survived by her husband Charles, daughter Tammy Lentz, and Amanda Smorto (Joe), two grandchildren Tyler and Bella Smorto, sister Elaine Doell, brother Clifford Shiley (LuAnn), sister-in-law Holy Miller, sister-in-law Carol Kester (Steve), Becky Kester, Sandy Shotts (Brian), brother-in-law Harold Wetheimer (Tabitha). Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

 Anita is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Clifford Shiley. Sister Sherry Kaufman, brother Eugene Shiley, and grandson Matthew Wolf.

 She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was known for her baby sitting and quilting. Her and Charlie loved to travel and she absolutely loved light houses and going to see them and collected elephants.

 Her greatest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren.

Anita will be sadly missed but always in our hearts.

 Friends received 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Funeral Service 11 AM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 Ash St., Johnstown. Rev. Dr. Toby Holland officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
