Ellsworth, Albon S. "Butch", 81, Seward passed away peacefully at home September 10, 2013. Born May 29, 1932 in Johnstown the son of late Charles A. and Edna Claire (Shirie) Ellsworth. Also preceded in death by these brothers and sisters Charles Ellsworth and his wife Bessie; Walter C. Ellsworth and his wife Rosie, Helen R. Benshoff and husband William, Olive F. Adams and husband Howard. Survived by wife of 50 ½ years Gloria J. (Dunmire) Ellsworth, children Howard C. Dunmire, Sherrl A. (Dumire) Calik and husband Richard, Harold E. "Bo" Ellsworth, Debra L. Ellsworth, Donna J. (Ellsworth) DeWitt and husband Stewart, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. US Army Veteran who also served for many years in the PA National Guard. Life member of both New Florence VFW Post 7622, and Charles Sutton American Legion Post 128, Bolivar. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown Plant with 30 ½ years of service. Last serving member of his immediate family. . Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at Kenneth A Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St. New Florence, where service will be held 11AM Friday. Rev. Scott Hamley officiating. Internment Bethel Cemetery. Military rite by local Veterans organization.
