Obituary of William R Lynch

Lynch, William R, 84, Vintondale, passed away February 8, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Born June 2, 1930 in Windber the son of the late Thomas and Helen (Kluk) Lynch. Also preceded in death by wife Shirley L. Rager, son William Richard Lynch Jr., great-grandson Austin Davis, brothers Thomas, Robert, and James Kenneth Lynch, sisters Berna Dean Baker and Theresa Gorman. He is survived by children Vickie and husband Raymond Falcone, Vintondale; Joseph and wife Mildred Lynch, Melvindale, MI; grandchildren Timothy Falcone, Christopher Falcone, Destinee Falcone, Cora Falcone, Joseph Lynch, William Richard Lynch III, Anthony Stafford and wife Patricia, and Julian Falcone; great-grandchildren Emma, Anthony Jr. and Justin Stafford and several other great-grandchildren; sisters Agnes and husband Glen Alexander and Mary Catherine and husband Robert Robertson; brother Patrick and wife Mary Ann Lynch (Do not delete this line. He served in the Army from 1948 to 1954, retired from McClouth Steel, Trenton, MI as a supervisor, member of multiple bowling leagues at Westmont Lanes, a member of both Seward and Vintondale V.F.W. and coached little league baseball for many years. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St, Armagh, where service will be held 10 am Thursday with Father Robert Washko officiating. Interment will be in Armagh Cemetery. Military rite by local veterans organization.
