Obituary of Frank J Cislo

Frank J Cislo, Jr., 74, Johnstown, took his last breath here on earth on Saturday, February 7, 2015. He was born October 19, 1940. Preceded in death by mother Catherine Jane (Davis) Cislo, father Frank J. Cislo Sr., and first wife Collette; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Survived by wife Deborah (Lowther) Cislo, Johnstown; son Francis Joseph Cislo III, wife Harriet, and daughter Nicol. Also great-grandchildren Morgan and Kenny Penrose. Gas Center; son Boyd Cislo, Johnstown, and his son Patrick, Seward; son Michael Cislo, wife Michelle, and daughter Amanda, Ligonier; step- daughter Tricia Kuhns Boring, husband Douglas, Fredericksburg VA and sons Andrew and Alex; step- daughter Janett Kuhns McIntire, fiance Gerry, and daughter Kasandara and son Sean Robert; brother Robert, and wife Suellen, Norfolk VA; and his children Toni Cislo Petak, (husband Richard) Tampa FL; Beau Cislo (wife Andrea) York, Katherine Cislo Cecillia VA Beach VA; brother William, Virginia; and his childrn Bill Williams Minneapolis-St Paul; John Cislo Johnstown; Michelle Cislo Johnstown; Eric Frick Chambersburg; Nick Frick Roaring Springs; sister-in-law Diana Wadlund and Victor, West Chester; brother-in-law David Lowther and Catherine, Clyde. Also survived by numerous cousins. Frank started his career in the U. S. Air force in the 1950s and then worked at tree trimming in Texas and Louisiana. He later returned home and worked as a scarfer for Bethlehem Steel Corp. His greatest passion was the 980,000 miles he traveled with the Johnstown Chiefs. He once was a goal judge for the Johnstown Jets. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He loved deep sea fishing off the coast of Topsail Beach, NC. He loved to garden and his flowers were the talk of the neighborhood; as were the tomatoes he shared with neighbors. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends received 4-8 PM Tuesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St. Armagh where service will be held noon Wednesday. Pastor K. Dwayne Kaufman officiating.
