Hampton, Thomas G, 79, Brush Valley completed his life's journey October 28, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born August 25, 1937 in Sidman the son of the late Joseph and Rheba (Brown) Hampton. Survived by wife of 55 years Sallly (Ream) Hampton; children Dale Hampton and wife Hope, Brush Valley; Brenda Schetnan, Albuquerque, NM; Thomas R. Hampton and Vicki, Brush Valley; grandchildren Seth Hampton and Megan; Kyle Hampton & Michelle; Luke Hampton; Sara Hampton; Jeffrey Schetnan; Alesha Radebach; great-grandson Josiah; sister Joan Shiber, Phoenix, AZ; brother Chester Hampton and Shirley, Canton, OH; step-sisters Nancy Snyder and Tim, NC; Sadie Glunt and Denny, Hollidaysburg. Also preceded in death by brothers Joseph E Hampton; Gene Hampton; and sister Darlene Hampton. Member of Brush Valley United Methodist Church. Enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking and working in the woods, camping gardening, apple butter making. U.S. Army Veteran, retired employee of I.B.M Memorial Service 3 pm Sunday November 9th at Brush Valley United Methodist Church, 200 Valley View Rd., Homer City (in Brush Valley Twp.), Pastor Rick Russell and Pastor Tom Spiker officiating. Inurnment Brush Valley Cemetery. Arrangement in care of Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh.
