Obituary of Fred Thompson

Fred Thompson, 83, Armagh went to be with his Lord Sunday October 12, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 2, 1930 in Apollo, the son of the late William and Ann Thompson. Also preceded in death by wife Margaret Thompson. Sons William, John and Fred Jr. Thompson. Survived by second wife Helen (Sarra) Short Thompson and by six daughters: Stephanie Cable, New Florence; Sandra Wilson, Pensacola, FL; Lynn Brink, Bentleyville; Terri Howard, Ligonier; Margaret Mulvihill, Hubert, NC; Tracie Hanabeck, Uniontown. 17 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren. Fred enjoyed Blue Grass music, fishing and making model airplanes. Attended New Life Church. Friends received from Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St. New Florence were service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Pastor Joseph Walls officiating. Internment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
